Scream in silence.

Yeah, it

You're being brainwashed. Check out ALEX JONES at http://WWW.INFOWARS.COM for real news. Alex says all corrupt government do: problem, reaction, solution to get power and control. As if we weren't free enough - 13th in the world - now it will be down near our prison population. Who benefits from this? I heard terrorism is BIG BUSINESS. Also, Alex says Hollywood was selling us tons of war movies lately. See, just like Hitler did - sell them on it first. And HITLER also said the bigger the lie, the more they believe it. Watch the sheep walk right to the cliff with these criminals and crooks - while they walk to the bank with all this nonsense.

I understand how you feel here. I have found myself asking those same questions. But there is no easy answer. I don't think it's fair to feel so guilt ridden though. You are not responsible for sweat shop labor because you own a nice pair of shoes..... instead, US corporate greed teamed with the greed of the country with the sweat shop labor are to feel that guilt. Unfortunately, they do not. But, although those sweatshop workers make what is for us, paltry wages, in their third world country it's more than they would make otherwise. So, try not to feel so bad for having things and living good. My grandpa came here from the P.I. on a boat and worked hard so we could all come here and have these things. You are lucky. We all are. Now may we just all be healed.

It is good to know there are people like RD in America. Questions like that MUST be asked, and it is a pity that so few are asking them.

I think that I can supply a general answer to what he asks. According to the New Scientist magazine, if every one of the world's 6,000,000,000 people lived like the average American, we would need FIVE planet Earths.

If every one of those people lived like the average European, we would need THREE planet Earths.

So yes, America does control and exploit most of the world's resources. This has been achieved by economic and political bullying. A coup in the right place at the right time, or maybe a civil war here or an assassination there, and America absorbs another chunk of the world's wealth.

Something has to be done. There are a lot of justifiably angry people out there. Far too many to fight.
