Donate Blood- Emergency Supplies Needed!
Red Cross & Blood Centers of the Pacific Call For Emergency Supplies To Send To NYC & DC
In response to the medical crisis faced by NYC and DC hospitals following today's events, Red Cross and Blood Centers of the Pacific are requesting blood donations to send eastward. In San Francisco, contact 1-888-393-4483 (Blood Centers of the Pacific) for facility locations. A main center on Turk and Masonic Sts. will be open M-Th 11am-7pm, F-Sat 8-4.
In other parts of the Bay Area, contact the American Red Cross at 1-800-448-3453.

§Gay men are excluded due to ignorance
Unfortunately, if you're a gay man, you can't donate blood, regardless of age and HIV status. Sorry, but this demonstrates the fact that we are still treated as second class citizens who are viewed as disease carriers.

§europe
Is it true that if you've spent more than 6 consecutive months in Europe in the past 20 years, you can't donate blood?
