POWER SHIFT

Sunday, September 9 on the steps of the Capitol
Building in Sacramento, a coalition of groups
including Greenpeace, ACORN, Green Action and Global
Exchange will band together to pressure the state to
move towards
1. Renewable
2. Clean
3. Publicly Owned Energy
Including the world’s largest solar facility!

Featured speakers and entertainment will include:
Medea Benjamin
Utah Phillips
Davey D
Teatro Campesino
…and many more!!!

BE A PART OF THE FIGHT!!! Power Shift will deliver
the message that Californians will not accept a move
towards volatile, polluting fossil fuels and a second
energy crisis. California has the opportunity to lead
the nation in addressing the problems of global
climate deterioration NOW and not when the problems
have escalated beyond our control.

COME OUT (and bring your friends)!!!
SEPT 9, 2-6PM : Rally and Concert

Stay the night for a Lobby Day on the morning of
Monday, September 10th and bring our demands for clean
publicly-owned power directly to decision makers.

Participate in this historic effort! Hundreds of
volunteer positions are still open throughout the next
