-00:00 Dennis Bernstein w Hussein Ibish of the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee.. Hussein Ibish: about the situation in Hebron.. Dennis: Monday, Barbara Lubin gave us a report from Hebron where a group of settlers were taking over a small Palestinian farm.. Mr. Ibish: the dynamic is.. beating the Palestinians into absolute submission.. the West Bank is divided into 63 sections, each completely cut off from the other and the outside world with roadblocks, on pain of death.. shortages of food, medicine, water.. some villages have no water.. cut off from employment, from access to medical care.. Gaza a giant ghetto, the world\'s largest prison.. at least half the Palestinians killed have been innocent passersby or at home..
-09:00 Dennis: about home demolitions in East Jersulem.. Mr Ibish: ..(the Israeli authorities say), "\"this has been built without a proper permit, we are the civil authority, and we will tear it down".. about Lockheed Martin; Boeing; Apache helicopters.. How the US gives Israel the money (US Aid to Israel about 5 billion dollars a year), they turn around and buy all this (sophisticated weaponry), and use it against ghetto dwellers, refugees, people squatting by the road.. Israel official recently said that the families of suicide bombers should be murdered.. a government behaving like gangsters, sending out teams of hit men to kill their enemies

Thompson: (the abuses) had to go back further than they acknowledge (just 2 weeks).. the prosecutor is a brainy guy.. but there\'s only one on the case.. Attn. Burris: as a matter of practice that\'s how they do all cases in this county.. I don\'t agree, but there it is.. It\'s possible these guys may walk

-37:40 audio segment, a recording of confrontation between a Berkeley Copwatch videographer, Jacob Crawford, and an officer searching a car..
now w Jacob: Saturday, July 26.. we were observing police conduct.. we saw a pullover with 4 cars.. a police officer came up and said i would get shot if i kept watching.. he was insinuating i might get shot.. We have scanners, we have video cameras.. (tips for interacting successfully with a police officer).. we want to be a deterent to police misconduct.. Jacob: the other night on Ashby.. (relates a positive result).. encourage the citizen to assert their rights, they don\'t have to consent to a search.. we don\'t obstruct, delay, police.. there is no law against watching.. too many people believe they don\'t have the right.. it\'s very important to watch police interactions with other citizens.. \"you will be arrested if you don\'t back up\".. YOU SHOULD COPWATCH IN PAIRS or more AND DOCUMENT WHAT HAPPENS.. Jacob: I\'ve had an officer enter my home (without knocking).. FUN TRAINING TOMORROW, 2022 Blake Str, Berkeley 11-2PM 510-548-0425 (listen to audio for further details) Noelle: this is a safe thing.. other Copwatch sites
