it's nice that bonnie raitt and julia "butterfly" hill are into civil disobedience, but it's sort of sad that their presence is supposed to make the cause any more "valuable." while on one hand it would be nice if people saw that their favorite country singer was into saving old growth forests and decided to do something themselves, it would also be kind of sad...

Allies are allies and if Bonnie R. can use her celebrity to bring more attention to the cause, then why complain?

If you thought you lived in a perfect world, why would you be at this site?

I only wish more celebrities would speak up and do something as gutsy as Bonnie did. She fucking rocks!
