Why the emphasis on peaceful. Our protest and actions should be to end the system of oppression and create the free, cooperative society. That's what Carlo fought and died for. I say fought beacause Carlo was a warior. As should we all. That doesn't mean that we all should be throwing fire extinguishers at the cops, but some of us should be. The itlaian movemnt has stated that their minimal demand is the end to the Berlosconi goverment. If you think that can be done peacefully, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

Today let us show our outrage at the death of Carlo, at the brutal atttacks on the other demonstrators in Genoa, and our outrage at the daily deaths and devastation to people and the environment throughout the world done by the system led by the G-8. By any means necessary.

I thought most IMC'ers favored fascism which is strict state control over private enterprise.

When Left-Wing terror strikes in mobs, that's okay, we look the other way when things go wrong.

When Right-Wing terror strikes in mobs, that's terrible, we made a lot of noise so nobody notices that we are the same people.

We protest free trade wearing cross-training gym shoes made in Indonesia.

We protest technology through the use of cell phones, digital cameras, and the internet.

We protest GMO's while we eat food that was genetically modified centuries ago (corn, soybeans, rice, wheat).

We protest American and Italian government abuses while we ignore the brutality in Africa and South America.

For these reasons, nobody will ever take us seriously, we have nothing to say, but we have plenty to destroy.
