Strike Solidarity
march in solidarity with union on strike
The painters and their families plan to march to Civic Center
to demand a
decend contract. Several other building trades unions are considering
endorsing the rally (we'll know more details tomorrow).
The painters will also be joined by rank and file Plasterers
from local 66
who have been on strike for two weeks as well. Everyone who
believes in
solidarity should plan to attend this rally and march if you
can get out of
work for a couple hours (or take your lunch break and meet us
in Civic Center
around noon).
Supporting this strike is a great way to fight neo-liberalism
and
globalization right here at home. Hope to see you out there!
