Community/Labor Rally To Stop the Rolling Blackoutsmail
Special Guest: Loretta Lynch,
President of the Public Utilities Commission
Seniors on fixed incomes must choose between buying food or
paying for power.
Employers are being forced out of the State.
Much needed public services are being slashed as government
coffers dry up to pay for the power crisis.
Environmental regulations are under attack.
Our community stands to suffer for years because the energy
crisis is being used by big business to gouge working families.
Meanwhile, the Bush administration sits on its heels and refuses
to take concrete action against energy producers who are averaging
over a 508% increase in profits.
Come join a community discussion about what we can do to defend
our community and our families. Loretta Lynch, the President
of the Public Utilities Commission, will provide the latest
information on the crisis. A discussion will follow about a
community response to fight back against out-of-state power
profiteers.
