This pickets marks the first time eerie, elusive Pacifica Board member Karolyn van Putten has officially been visited by the listeners who have no choice but to picket her at her place of employ and other venues.

Prior to this time the Coalition for a democratic Pacifica has asked Ms. van Putten to meet with us and she has categorically refused, saying that she does NOT represent the listeners, she represents the Pacifica National Board.

This is tantamount to a declaration of war against the listners of KPFA and her contemptuous, arrogant and corporatist dismissal of our request to meet needs itself to be met - with demonstrations of our displeasure.

Ms. van Putten will be appearing Sunday, June 17th at the Techno Cosmic Ritual Mass, 1933 Brodayway in Oakland, the event beginning at 6:30 PM. Those interested in leafletting to raise awareness of her destructive actions at Pacifica and KPFA please call John Sheridan at 510 652-0272 and attend.

There will be other pickets of van Putten, as there will be continuing pickets organized by the CdP of Epstein, Becker and Green in San Francisco, and in the near future of Ken Ford's group, the National Association of Home Builders, for the same reasons.
