The mp3 link goes to a blank page for me. Nothing happens. But I found a new .wav file on Studio 220's page that may have similar audio info? It is:

J2. Cincinnati. Audio news about police violence rallies, marches, direct action.

Ohio Valley Indymedia has lots of news on today's events. Ohio Valley Indymedia articles and reports say that several thousand people showed up altogether at the various stages of today's marches, rallies, direct action. Some arrests at actions in the more yuppie parts of town.

Here is some audio info:

Rallies, events, and marches about Cincinnati police violence. Audio updates are found at:

Here are some tips below on listening to the audio clips.

The first streaming audio clip has poor volume:

The following ones are fine. So far, there are these two:

When I first click these links, Windows Media Player automatically plays them, usually with a lot of interruptions. But when I click the link again, they play fine because my PC is playing the downloaded file on my PC. The clips are short - a minute or two - so just wait through the first download, and then click the link again. Or wait and click the play button on Windows Media Player. You can keep playing the clip as often as you want, at least until you restart your PC.

I don't know if the clip is kept on your PC after you restart. Anybody know how to save a clip? I'd like to email some clips to people.

Windows Media Player is free from Windows Update. Windows Update is on the start menu of Windows. Just click it and a page will load. There you can click "product updates" to see the list of stuff you can download for free - including the latest version of Windows Media Player which is much better than previous versions, I read.

Go to the Cincinnati audio clips web page for further links to more audio clips as they arrive:

I figured out the Windows Media Player problem with MP3 files.

The latest Windows Media Player has default settings that do not play MP3 audio files. But it is easy to fix. Click the tools menu, then "options" and then the formats tab. There you will see the checkbox for MP3. Click on it to be sure it is checked, and that it has a black checkmark on a white background. It seems the default setting has a black checkmark on a gray background. That setting does not work. Click the spot until it has a black checkmark on a white background. Then click OK. Then click the MP3 link. Windows Media Player will now automatically play MP3 files.
by Clicking away.
Also. Thanks to whoever explained about right-clicking to save audio files for later playback. One can save an audio clip easily by right-clicking its link. Then click "save target as." Then the audio file is available for replay at anytime, whether one is on or offline.
