Fired BART/SEIU 790 union activist and mechanic Ray Quan will be interveiwed by Amy Goodman on the national radio show Democracy Now. Ray was accused of workplace violence by BART bosses for exposing corruption by BART managers. They not only fired him but also sought to get a court order preventing him from returning to work. The judge ruled that this was a action to suppress free speech and ordered BART to pay the union lawyers. The judge also declared that Ray was doing a "public service" in exposing the corruption.
