Robin Hood Arrested by Sheriff of San Francisco!
Robin Hood and 4 of his band of merry pranksters were arrested following a banner drop and occupation of the Pacific Stock Exchange in San Francisco's Financial District. The merry men and women demanded the immediate release of the FTAA text by corporations and governments throughout the western hemisphere, and called on workers and citizens everywhere to oppose the conglomeration of global socioeconomic power in the hands of corporations and their free trade secret tribunals.
Earlier, two non-violent protesters in front of the stock exchange were mercilessly brutalized by the SFPD before and while being taken into custody. Still others were brought out from the floor of the exchange before independent media reporters arrived on the scene, for an estimated total of 11 arrests.
