A dramatic reading of voices from the struggle for women's emancipation 1776-1920 is being presented in honor of Women's History Month March 24
7 pm, Sunnyhills UMC, Milpitas

This free event with childcare, accessible to disabled, will present a historical tapestry of more than 32 voices of activists in the struggle for women's rights. Hear the riveting words of bold women and men, both black and white, who dared to stand up for freedom and make history: Elizabeth Cady Stanton, sojourner Truth, Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony, William Lloyd Garrison, Frances Ellen Harper and more.
