Zing.com - Racist ramblings.

by x
Here's some racist responses from Zing employees on the fuckedcompany.com website. The true colors of yuppies are revealed in their racist responses to a posting regarding their illegal use of their live/work space.
This is on a site entitled fuckedcompany.com - a website dedicated to dying dot.coms.

This company along with dozens of others in San Francisco have been illegally operating a business from their \"live/work\" space. Hundreds of local residents have protested and the owner of Zing\'s building who is illegally cashing in on this fraud has personally harrassed protestors. Scummy business like Zing deserve to go down in flames of glory. I can honestly tell you, the long time citizens of the Mission District and those displaced from San Francisco are enjoying every minute of it. Dot Commers - go home!

Response:

Honey, put the bottle down before you start typing.

So which long term resident are you? the crack-ho turning tricks in the Alley. Or the homeys who mugged the Safeway workers.?

You can have your neighborhood. You haven\'t done much with it so far... and I have probably given more to the neighborhood in tips than you have all year. Blow me.

I\'ll be waiting for you in the alley... just my contribution to the \"Mission Citizens Fund\"

Thats really upsetting the way you trash the people in the Mission. You don\'t have to there with your trashy opinions about drug addicts and delinquents. Not everyone is like that. I wish you would think about that next time you write.

Those Zing employees are so streetwise. There must not be a lot of work which is why they look out the window all day long and look at the people in the park doing their thing. Are you a streetwise Zing employee or have you been there in the park with those crackheads. Maybe not at that park but one just like it. Game recognizes game...

Really? And I guess the description of us as money-grubbing oportunists that you equate with us is accurate.

Let me lay some background on you. Let me know if I am wrong:

The protest that happened in front of this building was the most useless amusing protest in history. It accomplished nothing, the only people who showed up were students who didn\'t want to go to class, and some day laborers, who were probably paid to show up. It lasted two hours, or until the food ran out. Then they were off like a prom dress.

The people protesting, with exception of one particularly aggreived young lady, were, for the most part people who were just complaining about rent increases in the neighborhood.

Seems like many Mission residents are just in love with low rent...

A couple things that showed the TRUE heart of the community:

1. The \"protesters\" dumped garbage all over the place. Do they hate anything new and clean or is this just their way of welcoming someone new into the neighborhood...

2. One employee who went out to lunch during the protest and tried to get back in was spit on. Is that normal behavior for the average mission resident?

Face it honey, I know the ghetto when I see it. and we only work here. The bars on the windows in this \'hood aren\'t for show. and the ladies on mission after 6 aren\'t interested in conversation.

There may be a community here, but they are pretty xenophobic, and I have seen nothing that would lead me to believe otherwise.

I think that you misunderstood me. I was not talking about money grubbing anything. I, also, see your point about the protestors. I think however when you talk about crack hos it takes away from your point which has some valid points. The Mission is just another neighborhood that frankly has more bad aspects than good. Crime, homeless people and just being just plain dirty. I think most people would agree that a lot of people out there are pissed off at anyone who resembles prosperity hence Zing was the perfect target. As far as employees getting spit on that is entirely offensive and I would hope that the person who did this was arrested. La Raza is just another racist anti-white group. They plain and simple hate whitey. Zing was just an easy scapegoat. Your joining in with negative rhetoric just makes those people hate Zing even more. No doubt you know the ghetto but what does that make you smarter than most people. It doesn\'t take a brain surgeon to figure out that when bars are on the window its probably a bad neighborhood. Makes me wonder what was Zing thinking by joining the neighborhood in the first place if there were bars on the neighborhood. The bars were there in the first place and Zing moved in now you are complaining about it. Zing probably should have thought about that before they moved in but from all the information that has been passed around it sounds like it was a poor business decision that had nothing to do with Zing\'s employees.

Hey Beerbreath: You sound like a frigging idiot. Do us fellow Zingers a favor and quit sending messages to this board. Your idiot ramblings will only incite another protest.

i would like to see a nice going away party for zing employees who are losing their job. we can have it outside their offices and show our concern about the newfound unemployment.
by J.P.
We can bring them safeway coupons and pieces of rock cocaine. These comments are fucked up.

...that is beyond annoying -- what a bunch of assholes. I was there, and the "garbage" in question was a bunch of used furniture to make the point that if they're gonna displace folks here, people have no choice but to live on the street. We brought some of their own medicine to them in a way that gave them nothing more than inconvenience, and their nose is getting all bent out of shape. how typical. if they don't want to be perceived as racist yuppie pinhead morons who throw their (rapidly evaporating) money around, a good place to start would to be not acting in like stead. I could address how fucked-up each of the allegations that the poster made, but it's clearly a waste of breath and time.

reply:

Well put.

Bottom line, if you have a problem with the location and/or the people in that location, the blame the people that made
the decision to relocate the company there - NOT the people who previously lived and worked (even if in the street) in
that location. The environment existed before you got there. Are you that egotistical that you think the world will or
should change because of your presence? (comment from phoenix: well, actually? yah they probably are.)

I've been watching this board for awhile. Seems like the zingsters have a self-confidence issue. I mean, if you have to put everyone else down - even the neighborhood in which you work - to make it appear that your are somehow
"righteous," then you are well deserving of the negative responses. (comment from phoenix: in my experience, a lot (not all) of dot-commers are like this. big shock, i know...)

Some people just can't admit when they're wrong. (which doesn't equate to being 'fucked.' Just wrong).

Next time I visit Zing's offices, I'm going to seek you out.
