SUBJECT: Benefit for Supervisor Sophie Maxwell

WHEN: Saturday, February 17, 1-5PM

WHERE: Cafe Cocomo, 650 Indiana St., between 19th & Mariposa

WHO: Performing will be BUDDHAKOWSKI, EDNA LOVE, Carlos Palomares & Hector
Quintana of SONGO, DJ "Dimestore Dandy" & his magic ukelele, and much much
more!

WHAT ELSE: Admission is a suggested donation of $5.00 (additional amounts
are welcome). Children are welcome with adult escort; all ages okay;
no-host bar with ID. BBQ and other food will be for sale, courtesy of local
businesses.

WHY: Proceeds will go to the "Sophie Maxwell for Supervisor" campaign fund.
Sophie conducted a grass-roots campaign without "soft money," and we hope
to show our appreciation for that by relieving the burden of campaign debt.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the new District 10 Supervisor.
It'll be a great opportunity to chat and network and discuss neighborhood
concerns such as housing, space for artists and musicians, business and
jobs, etc. And a good time will be had by all!
