1. Bay Area wide TEACH IN
Sunday, February 11 at 3pm
Women's Building 3543 18th Street (at Valencia)
Speakers include:
Tim Redmond, Editor, San Francisco Bay Guardian
Tom Ammiano, President, S.F. Board of Supervisors
Medea Benjamin, Global Exchange & Green Party spokesperson Robin David, Labor Party, PG&E worker and member IBEW Local 1245 (for ID
purposes only)Graham Brownstein, Community Organizer - The Utility Reform Network (TURN)

2.ORGANIZING EFFORT FOR THE TEACH-IN
We need everybody's participation in order to make the teach-in a
successful event.There are a few things we need to do:
a)Postering
We're organizing teams that starting tonight are gonna put up about a 1000
posters in different places around the city.
b)Flyering
During commute hours we're gonna get at BART stations ¢ral bus stops
with flyers for the teach-in & petitions for boycotting the 9% rate increase.
c)Phonebanking
We need help to go through our huge phone list (for that call Charles 415-970-8919
or better e-mail him chcalish [at] ix.netcom.com)
d) MASS MOBILIZATION
SATURDAY FEB. 10 Cafe La Boheme 1pm
We need everybody out for this one,the last effort before the teach-in
