Hails to the forest defenders. Fuck Maxxam/PL!
i wish that the urbanites in the bay area would concetrate on problems surrounding them, rather than focusing on a removed issue that affects the hard working people of humboldt county. Scopac, in their dealings with many government agencies have made many concessions with regards to their practices which now far exceed that required by title 14 of the CCR. can't we see if these new stringent enviromental/ wildlife guidelines will work to better our resources while deriving primary resources before we kill a many generations old industry and company? if wood products don't come from humboldt county, they have to come from somewhere else, perhaps with far less environmental regulations. my final thought is this...rather than just resorting to civil disobedience, why not offer constructive ideas to make industry better and not just dissappear...which it won't.
