Calmer minds prevailed and the Chp retreated. They did set the stage for a mainstream media feeding frenzy as the whole world watched. The march went on and reassembled on the steps as a rally where speakers encouraged letting PG&E go bankrupt and be taken over to beome Peoples Gas and Electric. (Video-about 16 minutes)
