Why don't you guys just car-pool to Washington D.C. on J20 instead of protesting in San Fran? The bigger presence we have in D.C. the more powerful it'll be.

See you all in D.C. on J20!

Um, do you realize how far it is from SF to DC? In case you're not of this continent, it's about the distance from London to Moscow...3000 miles, several days of driving, hundreds of dollars spent, hundreds lost due to missed work...it's just not feasible...and it's quite silly to always think that people should centralized their actions and dissent around 1 single city in a place as huge as the U.S. AT THE LEAST there should be one action center on the east and west coast.

Why argue where this is happening? How exciting if every town in America staged it's own protest! Yes I agree with both the more the merrier and the great expense to travel to DC. But I want everyone to get involved, especially people who may feel like they don't count. So make it happened wherever you can! SF, DC or Nebraska...

You can't just protest in DC. You have to carry it into every nook and cranny in America. You have to let Grandma know how you feel. You have to write your LOCAL paper. You have to find a place on your car to put that bumpersticker, so that when you go into the hinterlands on your little weekend trips, the yokels who live there will know how you feel, because they won't get it from their local media.

What has changed since the Million Man March, the Million Mom March, or the Million Whoever March? Not a damn thing. For all your elected officials know or give a sh*t, they are all in DC on vacation. You have to make damn sure YOUR congressman knows where you stand. That is the ONLY way anything will get done. Make the bastards fight their little ideological war on as many fronts as possible.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
