I am a lawyer who was at a Nieman Marcus protest against fur in Union Square San Francisco. I was beaten and choked to the point of axphixiation (SP?) by Officer Dempsey at this protest. He then told me 5 times that he was going to kill me. I was in the hospital for hours. THIS IS SERIOUS! I will be filing attempted murder charges against him tomorrow. I am terrified. If anyone knows of any news outlets who want my story please call.

The clain that the officer in question acted violently against a peaceful protester certainly is not surprizing. As the police state strengthens its' fascist stance against those who speak out against injustice, we will all see more and more unteathered acts of violence against fellow socially responsible citisens.

It is happening across our country; from Boston to San Francisco- and the police state does what it can to hide the inappropriateness of its' collective action.

Hopefully through alternative media sources we will begin to see such state perpetuated injustices and acts of institutional "legal" terrorism brought into the public eye and thus put to an end.
