Dolan and Walrich Gan-Greens to real activists. Liberals ignore real radicals

by Negro Gato
The green machine has and continues to say they are a radical alternative yet they work against working to support folks in working class America and condemn BlackBlok.
Mike Dolan worked behind the scenes to stop National suport for the recent TABD protests and Laurie Walrich openly condemns the Black. Who needs them. We had 1500 folks out from our region and we kicked ass. You and your back biting ilk are worthless to real radicals. We will openly work to dismantle your influence. Who needs you? What have you and your ilk done of any significance in recent years? Besides work with the reactionaries to condemn radicals, fuck up everything in your path worth preserving and building your reumes. We in oppressed America are realizing that we have no back from you liberal peices of shit. You just stay in your comfort zone and preach to the choir while the rest of us suffer. We will remember you as a black block point of interest. Dolan spent the last few months back biting efforts to get a naational call against TABD and asked folks in the region to keep his posts on a one on one basis. Well that is Bull shit. He and Ms Walrich are destined to be working for the Democrats in the next election or worse repeating their performance in the Greens. Ms. Walrich came to Cincy and spoke with folks and whipped them into an anti-Black Block frenzy. To the point that nuns were calling the Blok Hooligans from the stage. Who need syou losers? The Greens are a bunch of upper middle class people who don't support the main left or the far left. They have found a nice comfort zone in the middle back biting both sides. Maybe the Blok should start protesting all of their meetings. Nader suks Naderites suk and his staff suk and we don't need or want you.

Who needs them

Like people on West Coast have anything on us. In Louisville Ky we have had 1000 people march on the 4th district police house and won a Civilian Review Board something certain West Coast and East Coast cities keep dreaming about. Why Mike Dolan thinks he can marginalize us is off the track. We win battles here. We don't just march around talking shit and whining.

Mike Dolan's assessment of why "liberal" and trade union forces weren't a major factor in the convergence at the TABD in Cincinatti ignores the painfully obvious. Having devoted enormous energy, money, and time to turning out the vote for Al, these forces are now trying to assess the kind of damage control that will be necessary if Bush wins, and are in a state of acute paralysis..everywhere.

(Just for starters, imagine a Bush Justice Department investigation into the AFL-CIO leadership's financial shinanigans with the Democratic National Committee during the Carey-Hoffa election in the Teamsters..you get the drift.)

Dolan's usual regional (left coast) chauvinism also is a factor here. Efforts at mass mobilizations in the Midwest cities have historically received little attention from movement folks on both coasts..whose perceptions of the organizing in the heartland are often shaped by the view at 30,000 feet as they jet from San Francisco to Washington. The success or failure of the Ohio mobilization must be measured by local conditions and circumstances. And using these guidlines, the mobilization was a victory for the anti-globalization movement in the Midwest..and everywhere else.

So here's a challenge to Dolan. Instead of whining about the Black Bloc and the relative size of the convergence in Ohio, why don't you roll up your sleeves and start working to build for a Counterinaugural convergence in DC on Jan 20th to greet whatever clown our corporate overlords finally decide to install in the Oval Office. Check DC-IMC for more details. That's what many midwest activists are beginning to do. Perhaps you can also take the opportunity to point out to those distressed liberals and labor bureaucrats (and your donor base) that if Dubya wins..they'll have no place else to go..but back into the streets.
