What was it — a month or so ago? — they had various people standing out in front of City Hall, protesting the shrinking amount of rehearsal space as rents soar from $2,500 to $10,000 a month in some instances. Others held signs over their heads that read “Evicted Dancer,” “Evicted Teacher,” “Evicted Singer,” and “Evicted Student.” I doubt I even have to say why.

WHAT A PLEASURE TO KNOW THAT "HOOPS" IS STILL ALIVE AND KICKIN'.
ENJOYED THE ARTICLE AND WAS PLEASED TO SEE THAT HE THOUGHT ENOUGH OF DEE HARRELL TO MENTION HER IN THIS STORY.
...ALWAYS ENJOYED HOOPS, AND OTHER THAN HIS SPARKLING PERSONA, HOOPS DOESN'T WRITE "ARTICLES", HE TELLS TALES.
