Wednesday November 1st at 2:00 in HSS 102: The SFSU Philosophy Department and the Radical Political Forum at SFSU sponsors Whom Should We Vote For?; with David Tabb, Professor of Political Science; Anatole Anton, Department Chair and Professor of Philosophy; and Ann Robertson, Professor of Philosophy; What's the difference between the Democrats, the Green Party, and the Socialists? How does each candidate address the fight for social and environmental justice? Is a vote for the greens or the socialists a vote for George W. Bush? Most people know the Republican Party does not represent the interests of young people, the disabled, minorities, women and the working poor. But is Al Gore really an alternative to the Republicans? On the other hand, does Ralph Nader really address the serious social and environmental crisis we face today? Or are the socialists right that we should fight the economic system that gave rise to the social and environmental crisis?
