SAVE THE ARTS: WRITE YOUR SUPERVISOR NOW!
Support upcoming resolution to provide emergency funding for arts, culture, and community non-profits!
No time to waste! This Monday, October 30, the Board of Supervisors will
vote on an Ammiano-sponsored resolution to provide 1.5 million in emergency
funding for arts, culture and community organizations. The money will go to
non-profits with a two-year history that can show need due to rent
increases. The fund could pay as much as half the rent, as long as the
organization can secure a one-year lease.
If passed, this money is a step toward keeping arts, culture, and community
services alive in San Francisco.
Please write your district's supervisor, any supervisor, all the supervisors to show you support the emergency rent fund. Do it TODAY! The vote is on Monday.
