LPFM applications results
No more than 500 LPFM applicants entered in the second window....
Greetings from the Microradio Implementation Project
As I predicted, no more than 500 LPFM applicants would enter in the second window: There were 474!
Connecticut 38, Illinois 84, Kansas 36, Michigan 87, Minnesota 63, Mississippi 23, Nevada 23, New Hampshire 28, Puerto Rico 20, Virginia 58,
Wyoming 14
Full info should be disclosed in the more public FCC pages soon. But you can access each app now at: Http://svartifoss.fcc.gov:8080/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/app_sear.htm Thanks to Cheryl Leanza and John Broomall for the heads up.
A very quick look shows an emergence of lots of community groups and within church circles - significant number of Adventist, some Catholic, and
campus ministry groups. Nice sweep of cultural grops - Vetnamense, Korean,
Latino. High schools and municipal agencies too.
