Counter Recruitment Presenters Mobilization!
The military recruits in most Bay Area high schools,
Let's make sure students hear the other side!
This will be a training/organizing kick off for:
• youth to youth presentation teams,
• veterans and non-veteran classroom presenters, and
• anyone who wants to learn, share and help support this effort!

West of City Hall, near Civic Center BART
Snacks will be provided, donations will be accepted.
We will look at:
• doing effective and engaging presentations
• audio visual resources for counter recruitment
• using theater and games to get the message across
• veterans telling their stories
• strategies for getting invited into schools
and community organizations
Facilitators will include:
Paul Cox and Eduardo Cohen, Veterans for Peace
Ruby Butler, Youth Empowerment School, AWE
Samora Pinderhughes, Berkeley High School
Eric Reed, Berkeley High School, Art in Action
Michelle Wong, UC Berkeley/MOOS-Bay
