YOU Can Help Put Executions on Hold!
Now is the time to tell your legislators to put executions on hold by supporting the "California Moratorium on Executions Act" (AB 1121) which would halt all executions while the California Commission on the Fair Administration of Justice is investigating the problem of wrongful conviction and the administration of the death penalty in California.

Two more executions are rapidly approaching. We must urge the legislature to put executions on hold by supporting AB 1121.
On Tuesday, January 10th, AB 1121 is being heard in the Assembly Public Safety Committee.
Here are three things you can do:
1. Join us for a lobby day with nine California exonorees, in Sacramento, on January 10th: Reply to this email to RSVP and to get more information.
2. Call your Assembly Member on January 10th. Click here to find your member’s phone number: http://www.assembly.ca.gov/acs/acsframeset7text.htm
Suggested phone script: “Hi, my name is____________ and I live in (city or town). As your constituent, I strongly urge you to support Assembly Bill 1121, The California Moratorium on Executions Act”. This bill would put executions on hold while the California Commission on the Fair Administration of Justice is studying the issues of wrongful conviction and execution in California.”
