LETTERS TO THE SF BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS**

Dear Medical Marijuana
Supporters:

Time is of the essence!

San Francisco is on the brink
of passing regulations to
control and regulate medical
cannabis dispensaries. ASA
substantively supports most of
the provisions in Supervisor
Mirkarimi’s proposal.
However, we are concerned by
recent actions by various
members of the board that
would saturate the city with
“no dispensary zones”.

Please send an letter on
behalf of your organization to
the each member of the San
Francisco Board of Supervisors
urging support for Supervisor
Mirkarimi’s proposal and
frustration about the attempt
to carve out zoning
restrictions specific in their
own districts that jeopardize
patient access and limits
choice. The two most
significant issues at stake
are restrictive zoning
provisions and the threat of
an amendment to kill the 99
plant/100sq.ft canopy
provision.
