Not In Our Name Funeral Procession in Saturday March
Not In Our Name in the Bay Area represented at
Saturday’s rally and march through the streets of San
Francisco declaring “From Iraq to New Orleans, No More
Deaths at the Hands of the Bush Regime!”
Saturday’s rally and march through the streets of San
Francisco declaring “From Iraq to New Orleans, No More
Deaths at the Hands of the Bush Regime!”
Not In Our Name marched along with thousands in a
youth-led funeral procession which included musicians,
coffins draped in black to represent the thousands
killed by the blatant aggression and neglect of the
Bush Administration, and lively chants. Two die-ins
were staged along the route, and along with the
coffins, made compelling visual representations of the
human costs of the policies of the Bush Regime.
Not In Our Name is calling for a National Day of
Action on Nov 2nd, the one year anniversary of Bush’s
“re-election” and the invasion of Fallujah in Iraq.
