Medical Marijuana Club Raided by DEA
One of San Francisco's most prominent Medical Marijuana Dispensaries has been shut down by the Feds.
Yesterday the DEA sent a notice to Compassionate Caregivers to close its doors within 48 hours. Assets have been frozen and over 100 employees have lost their jobs.
CCG had been in operation for almost 4 years and was one of the most prominent dispenseries in Oakland. They also had a branch in San Francisco. The raid came just one day after the announcement of the supreme court overrulled the case of Raich VS. Gonzalez which upholds the Federal Government's continued persecution against Medical Marijuana patients.
