San Francisco, CA Feb 24, 2005 -- Eddy Lepp fell while being
transported to court in handcuffs and injured his back. He was taken
to S.F. General, but his wife Linda was not allowed to go see him.
Eddy is reportedly in severe pain. His wife says he has degenerative
nerve disease in his lower back. His detention hearing has been
rescheduled for Friday. Eddy is now represented by federal defender
David Fermino who says he has not yet entered a plea on Eddy's behalf.

Eddy's co-defendant, Daniel Barnes, who is represented by court
appointed attorney Harris Taback, was released today on a $50,000
unsecured bond. He has a hearing in front of Judge Shapiro on March
3 at 9:30 am.
