No amount of rain or verbal abuse will discourage Valerie Belt. On
this wet Saturday night, like every Saturday night for the last two
months, she and a handful of activists are camped in front of Spago
Beverly Hills, waving signs and handing out leaflets, determined to
get some meaningful menu reform. "I have no intention of stopping
until Wolfgang takes foie gras and crated veal off the menu," says
Belt, a tall, plucky blonde who takes her animal cruelty issues very
seriously.
