Photos from 11/2 BayLOC Get Hype and Vote Rally, March

About 25 people gathered at 14th and Broadway to ask people to vote no on Y, yes on 66, and yes on 72. They marched to the court where the Riders trial was going on, and then held a rally at 14th St. and Lakeshore. People gave flyers to drivers and pedestrians and tried to get out the word about their causes, while encouraging people to vote.

Barbara Lee and Ron Dellums spoke. Rep. Lee used the megaphone, but former Rep. Dellums did not use the megaphone. Instead, he had everyone crowd real tight around him. He does not have a loud voice, but people who listened closely could understand him. About 20 more youth arrived to join the rally. At the end, some marched back to the courthouse to observe the Riders trial.
