National antiwar organizations, civil rights advocates and rights groups join together in response to the unjust special registration program and detentions of Middle-Eastern and South-Asian visitors and immigrants. In the wake of September 11th, over 1100 people mainly Arabs, Muslims and South Asians have been roundedup by the FBI and INS. They are being kept in detention, many on the basis of secret evidence or no evidence at all, and without contact with a lawyer or their loved ones. Since then, thousands of immigrants from dozens of countries have been subjected to
special INS registrations with many detained and brutally treated. The FBI has begun compiling detailed information on Mosques and Middle Eastern communities. Pakistani immigrants, fearful of detentions have attempted to enter Canada only to be stopped at the border, returned to the US.

Since 911, over thousand persons were arrested, detained, and deported without due process. The two latest victims are: Professor Sami Al-Arian, who said at the time of his arrest, "I'm crucified today
because of who I am: a stateless Palestinian, an Arab, a Muslim, an
outspoken Advocate for Palestinian rights, but more significantly a
persistent defender of civil and constitutional rights on the home
front." US citizen Michael Hawash who is being detained as a material witness under secret warrants issued at the
request of the Justice Department. Despite this action, Hawash's former employers, including a former INTEL Vice President and others have formed a legal defense for him and is speaking out so this does not happen to someone else!

Since the war on Iraq has been launched,thousands across this country have acted against this unjust, immoral and illegitimate war.
The war on the world, has nothing to do with stopping"terrorism",
but it is everything to do with tightening the police state controls
over everyone.

This is one of those moments in history that determines whether we will let the government pick off groups one at a time with all of us being led like sheep to the slaughter in the end or whether people will take a stand and say, "this has gone too far, IT MUST BE STOPPED! Remember what happened to the Japanese Americans in WW2 – what would you have done then – what will you do now! Wear and distribute the Blue Triangle as a
symbol of resistance!
