Thousands Fill San Francisco Streets for Peaceful Afternoon March

the peaceful march earlier Saturday afternoon seems like another world to demonstrators on the streets tonight, facing police batons and impossibly restricted movement throughout the city. demonstrators have made it clear: whether given freedom to voice our dissent creatively in unrestricted peaceful marches like this one early this afternoon; or forced to face violence and incarceration, we will occupy these streets until our voices are heard.
