Over 1,000 immigrants have been detained for “national security” reasons since the September attacks, and on November 9th, the Bush administration announced an official policy of ethnic profiling. Media Alliance and the Mission Cultural Center present an evening of discussion. Panelists include: Maylei Blackwell, moderator; Ana Bertha Campa, independent filmmaker; Youmna Chalala, Arab Women Solidarity Association; Elizabeth Martinez, journalist/activist; and Joy Moore, KPFA radio producer/community activist and others.

This event is co-sponsored by Media Alliance, a nonprofit training and resource center for media workers, community organizations, and community activists and the Mission Cultural Center.
