Environmental Justice Rally May 16 in Hunters Point

On May 16, Youth on Fire!, organized by teachers and students at 4 public schools, will be staged at Herons Head Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A march will start at 2:30 p.m., with a rally at 3:00 Hunters Point Power Plant/India Basin Park. Rally speakers will include long-time residents and youth activists speaking out against the aging, polluting PG&E plant in Hunters Point.
