Tohono O’odham Students, Elders Name Arizona’s Newest Wild Jaguar
SAN XAVIER, Tohono O’odham Nation, May 9, 2024 — Students from schools on the Tohono O’odham Nation, as well as groups of elders and nearly 1,000 Tribal members, have voted to name the newest detected wild jaguar to enter the United States from Mexico. Western Monarch Count Tallies 233,394 Butterflies
Portland, Ore. Jan. 30, 2024—Much anticipated each year, results of the 27th annual Western Monarch Count have been released by the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation.
