ANSWER says, "The message of the 1967 march was 'From Protest to Resistance,' and marked a turning point in the development of a countrywide mass movement" (imc_photo.gif Photos: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 ). There were also other protests around the country in Philadelphia, New York City, Ann Arbor, Oklahoma City, Portland, Colorado Springs, Houston, Rochester, Brussels Belgium, Melbourne Australia, Perth Australia, Sydney Australia, Gothenburg Sweden, Tokyo Japan and Madrid Spain.

On Friday, a Christian Peace Witness for Iraq rally, march, and prayer vigil was held at 3:00pm in San Francisco's Boedekker Park (Jones St. @ Eddy St.). A Christian Peace Witness for Iraq candlelight vigil was held on Friday night at 7pm in Santa Cruz.
