The vigil will express solidarity with thousands of faithful worshipers in Washington, DC who will gather at the National Cathedral and march to the White House on that evening. We invite members of the community to come together in remembrance of lives lost and in prayer for peace. More information about the Washington event can be seen at http://www.christianpeacewitness.org.
The vigil is being organized by representatives from a growing list of Christian churches in Santa Cruz County, including Calvary Episcopal, Holy Cross Church and First Congregational Church, among others, as well as local peace organizations such as Pax Christi.
