St. Patrick's Day of March 17 hadn't yet ended for these Irishmen who met up with the Raging Grannies at 4th Anniversary Demo March 18

In hopes that we'd meet some charming Irishmen along the march, the Grannies prepared a special sign AND this special song!

The Irish Peacemaker
Tune: The Irish Washerwoman
By Granny Gail Conroy-Sredanovic

We put on our white gloves and pick up our banners
We’re well informed women with pretty good manners
But when we see suffering and cru-el injustice
That’s when you’ll see that we kick up a fuss

We sing out for peace and we sing for war’s ending
Our voices are not always perfectly blending
We trade on our image as credible sages
To bring you a message of peace for our age

Once we found these Irish fellows (or should I say, they found us) we had to pose for a photo!

Who needs internet dating when you've got Peace Marches?
§Two Guys Named Patrick

In the foreground, Patrick Fahey, Granny friend and mandolin player! Behind him, another Patrick whom we rescued from the cops. That wasn't an open bottle of beer in that paper bag was it, Patrick #2?

These gals came from Modesto with their mom. Not Irish.
