4 Color Slick Mailer by anti-Pacifica Gang; No KPFA ballot yet in SF

by Stop Hate Pacifica Gang
Here we go again with another Local Station Board election, this time to get rid of the pro-recall gang that attacked Tracy Rosenberg, SaveKFPA. The Hallinans apparently tossed more money at their favorite government operation, SaveKPFA, being proud Democrats, so that we now have a 4 color slick mailer, plus black and white, full of lies to read while we wait for the Local Station Board election ballots which were mailed from the storm ridden-no mail services East Coast on Nov 6. With a Monday postal holiday, hopefully they get here Tuesday, Nov 13. The post office claims to have normal mail service on the East Coast now.

Please read the Vote Community Radio website for an excellent alternative slate:
http://www.votecommunityradio.org/
Their endorsers are at:
http://www.votecommunityradio.org/?page_id=1073

Their slick mailer is at:
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2012/11/10/18725466.php
and hopefully in our mailboxes soon.

Let us hope that the expensive recall, which ended being nullified, is a mandate to repeal all recall provisions in the Bylaws as we have almost annual expensive Local Station Board elections and thus do not need and cannot afford these recalls, all of which are contrived by definition.

If you have your 2 SaveKPFA slick mailers from the recall, you can compare them to this one. All 3 have the same type of microphone as their logo, apparently. The first slick mailer has the same permit number as the current one, Permit 1580. Most importantly, all 3 have similar endorsers and lies.

Your first reaction to this expensive blue, yellow, red, green, black and white slick mailer should be rejection of the obviously well-funded SaveKPFA campaign as big money campaigns do not belong at KPFA or Pacifica. KPFA and all the other listener-sponsored Pacifica stations, are community radio, promoting grassroots struggles.

Your first question of the SaveKPFA slick mailer is why aren’t they proud of their recall campaign of our beloved Tracy Rosenberg? They do not mention it anywhere on their slick mailer, yet they deluged us with 2 slick mailers and endless hate speech on our community radio attacking Tracy Rosenberg.

They continue to promote their garbage Morning Show and its Republican operative, Brian Edwards Tiekert, a young slick dude who sounds and is totally out of place at KPFA. For more on Tiekert, see:
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2010/12/03/18665521.php
You will see that Tiekert, along with Mitch Jeserich and Lewis Sawyer, were represented by a Republican Party law firm, Smith & Dhillon, which principal, Harmeet Dhillon, is chair of the San Francisco Republican Party. She was on the San Francisco ballot this year, running against Democrat Mark Leno, and of course, lost. More on Dhillon is at:
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2010/12/03/18665521.php
The full biography of the reactionary Republican Party lawyer, Harmeet Dhillon, may be found at the Smart Voter website since she ran for Assembly against Democrat Tom Ammiano in San Francisco in November 2008. See
http://www.smartvoter.org/2008/11/04/ca/state/vote/dhillon_h/bio.html

Her endorsers are listed at
http://www.smartvoter.org/2008/11/04/ca/state/vote/dhillon_h/endorse.html

and her answers to questions are listed at:
http://www.smartvoter.org/2008/11/04/ca/state/vote/dhillon_h/questions.html

Much is made of her education, but anyone who states, as Dhillon does in answers to questions, that the teachers' unions are a problem in the school system and that the only viable medical system is the private profit health insurance disaster that we now have, is a person who is profoundly backward, ignorant and reactionary.

Her co-chair role of Lawyers for Bush/Cheney'04 and her "journalism" for the reactionary Heritage Foundation, are more fully described at:
http://www.imakenews.com/sfgop/e_article001049029.cfm?x=b11,0,w

Please note that Bush/Cheney's fascism in committing election fraud in 2000 and all their other crimes against humanity at home and abroad were well known by 2004.

Her law firm's website lists a successful lawsuit in which they represented the Republican Party of Los Angeles County. See:
http://www.dhillonsmith.com/2010/05/dhillon-smith-prevails-in-lawsuit-over-the-leadership-of-the-republican-party-of-los-angeles-county/
For the 2012 election, see:
http://www.smartvoter.org/2012/11/06/ca/state/vote/dhillon_h/

Next on the SaveKPFA slick mailer, their alternate fund-raising has won them a court decision against them, which they will either have to settle or find themselves with property that has a lien. See:
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2012/09/07/18721146.php
This case is on the Alameda County Superior Court website, Action No. RG11555942. The docket is at:
http://apps.alameda.courts.ca.gov/domainweb/html/casesumbody.html
The Court of Appeal decision is on the Alameda Superior Court website for this case at
http://apps.alameda.courts.ca.gov/domainweb/service?ServiceName=DomainWebService&PageName=itree&Action=27783307

We see on the list of endorsers all the usual suspects. You can read about Dan Siegel on this website at:

The comments on this Dan Siegel article are:

http://www.votecommunityradio.org/?p=2125: This is Tracy Rosenberg’s 11/9/12 Counterpunch article, The Battle For Clarity: Dan Siegel and the Pacifica Foundation, responding to Dan Siegel’s Counterpunch article cited above on Indybay.

Dan Siegel and Conn Hallinan can be seen acting like thugs at a Local Station Board meeting at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjBqU7F_m9s
The Hallinans are trained boxers.

And as usual, the leading light of this government operation, Larry Bensky, is listed as an endorser. Bensky, a former KPFA programmer, was the editor of a CIA publication, the Paris Review, and is more fully described below:
1. His attacks to callers on air:

2. Supporters of Pat Scott Gang and union busters American Consulting:

4. His opposition to Peace & Freedom and Green Parties:

7. His anti-labor outlook on labor programming:
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2006/04/14/18154241.php

8. His contempt for free speech:
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2004/11/13/17051361.php

9. His attack on William Blum's book exposing the CIA and a reminder that Bensky was editor of the CIA front, the Paris Review, at
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2005/06/27/17498851.php

10. His ridicule of the fact of history that Nazis influenced the anti-Communist witchhunts of the 1940s-1950s as of course they were first and foremost anti-communist:
