Arrests at Schwarzenegger's SF Office Protesting State Budget Cuts - Pt. 2
Video of disability rights activists occupying McAllister Street in front of the State Building in San Francisco in protest of cuts to the California state budget. One-by-one the activists, most of them in wheelchairs, were escorted by SFPD to a location behind a barricade to be cited and arrested for blocking traffic. The San Francisco Police Department arrested a total of 17 people. Most of those arrested were physically disabled and were in electric wheelchairs that could not be loaded easily into police vans, so the SFPD detained and cited the protesters behind barricades.
