4 unidentified migrant workers languish in critical condition at the UCSD Burn Unit The Union Tribune reported last week (Oct. 29, 2007) that there are about 7 migrant workers who were caught in the middle of the Harris Fire on one of the first days it started, and they are now at UCSD Burn Unit.
Of course, the Union Tribune is run by NeoCons who like to blame all of their problems on illegal immigration, so the article focused on the migrant workers' inability to pay their massive medical bills. Does anybody have any information on the fire victims, or any suggestions about how to help? |
