Witness: SF Cops Kill Man Surrendering
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) -- A woman who identified herself as a resident of 672 Larch Way, near Eddy and Buchanan streets where San Francisco police fatally shot a suspect Wednesday night, said the suspect "was holding his hands up surrendering" when he was shot.
Rochelle Terrell said, "They just murdered this dude."
Terrell said her children, ages 8, 9 and 11, were outside playing at about 8:10 p.m. when what police described as a chase of an armed suspect in a stolen vehicle ended outside her home.
"A whole lot of kids were playing outside," Terrell said, adding that her children were terrified.
After the shooting, Terrell said, 10 or 12 officers urged residents to stay inside.
"The police are lined up in front of my door like they're ready to kill everybody, hands on their triggers," she said.
