Water, Women, Africa: Stanford Action 
An action on Stanford campus held on the day before Earth Day brought together three topics of great concern to the activist Raging Grannies--women, water, and Africa. Women, who bear the brunt of water hauling in African communities, are endangered when they must carry water for many miles over many hours on a daily basis. They are unable to attend school and are often at risk of sexual assault as they travel back and forth to water sources.

Rally in EPA: Tenants Unite to Fight Page Mill Properties Pt. I 
Youth United for Community Action organized a rally of tenants and supporters. The march started in East Palo Alto, stopping in front of Page Mill Properties headquarters in Palo Alto, and continuing on to Congresswoman Eshoo's Office where they made their appeal to the Representative. Encouraging supporters to call Eshoo's office to complain about Page Mill Properties' tenant harassment they chanted:
