Driving on the streets of Santa Cruz over the past two years has just gotten plain dangerous. Plea for students to please tell their friends to stop driving while on substances! Maybe we should have a tipsy taxi like UC Davis where it only costs $2 for a ride and everyone is safe!...

UCSC Student Activist Tolerance for Militarism
Students at UCSC gathered today, April 24 2007 in celebration of the absense of military recruiters at todays job fair on campus. There was a rallly that started at 10AM at Bay Tree Plaza and ended outside the chancellors office at Kerr Hall. Student activists proved themselves hypocritical by claiming to embrace tolerance while at the same time cheering for the fact that they 'kicked off' military recruiters from UCSC....
