INFORUM at the Commonwealth Club is hosting Ellen Pao and Laura Weidman Powers. Ellen Pao sent shock-waves throughout Silicon Valley when she sued her former employer for workplace discrimination against women and other minority groups. Pao will share her experiences as a long-time entrepreneur, lawyer, angel investor, and activist advocating for diversity and inclusion in tech in her new book Reset: My Fight for Inclusion and Lasting Change.Laura Weidman Powers is the Co-Founder and CEO of Code2040, a nonprofit organization that builds pathways to educational, professional, and entrepreneurial success in technology for people of color, specifically Black and Latinxs.
