Title: Free Hugo & Rodrigo Rally
Location: SF Immigration Court ~ 630 Samsome St, SF
Description:
TUESDAY 6/20 -Free Hugo and Rodrigo Rally
10am -Noon

On Tuesday, June 20th, Hugo and Rodrigo will have their day in court and we need to be there to support them. DC16 IUPAT, California Immigrant Youth Justice Alliance, California Immigrant Policy Center, San Francisco Labor Council, and other community and labor allies will be there standing strong with our brothers.

Take a stand for two union brothers, long time construction workers, who showed up for work, were taken into ICE custody and now are facing an unjust, fast-tracked deportation.

Hugo Mejia, Painters and Tapers Local 83, Petaluma, lives in San Rafael with his wife and three children. He volunteers at his children’s school and is connected to a local synagogue.

Rodrigo Nunez, Carpenter Union Local 713, Hayward, lives in Hayward with his wife and three children. Rodrigo is active in the community as an assistant coach for his son’s baseball team and volunteers at his church.

They are being denied a chance to tell their full story.

Please stand in Solidarity with these two brothers and tell the Trump administration to release these union brothers, fathers and husbands!

In addition to the rally on June 20th, there are other actions you can participate in listed below, and on the Facebook Event page.
