by Stop US Aid to Israel
Thursday May 25th, 2017 8:58 PM
1,500 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails on hunger strike for 40 days as of May 26, 2017
With 1500 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails on hunger strike for 40 days as of May 26, 2017 and facing possible death, and Israel refusing to meet their just demands, found at http://imemc.org/article/the-demands-of-hunger-striking-detainees-in-israeli-prisons/, a call has been made for a military embargo on Israel, as was done on apartheid South Africa. See https://bdsmovement.net/news/urgent-call-day-40-mass-palestinian-hunger-strike-advocate-military-embargo-israel

In the 1981 Irish prisoner hunger strike, 10 died after at least 59 days on hunger strike, and 13 others participated. See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_Irish_hunger_strike

Allowing 1500 people to die in prisons is a massacre and a crime against humanity for which neither Israel nor its patron, the United States, including the 100% pro-Israel parties, the Democrat-Republicans, will ever be forgiven. Israel does not exist without the $4 billion or more from the US treasury supplied by the US taxpayers, given to it by the 100% pro-Israel US Congress and president, Democrats and Republicans together, to promote Israel as the US military base and settler colony in the Middle East that it is to protect US oil profits and do the bidding of US imperialism around the world.
